I drive out, walk in, and wait for the light.

Outdoor and nature photography, a habit that started with a simple camera in my twenties and has not let up since. Mostly the American West so far: Yellowstone at the river and the terraces, the Tetons behind an old barn on Mormon Row, the canyon walls of Zion. Sometimes a city I am passing through.

What I am after is the pattern and the texture more than the postcard. Frames go up as I work through them.
